| Healthy Respect youth and character development programs teach students how to build healthy relationships, increase self-esteem, set goals, and develop the skills to set appropriate boundaries in order to achieve their future goals. Our programs teach students the skills necessary to avoid all risky behaviors including alcohol, tobacco, drugs, violence, and sexual activity. Students learn the risks of sexually transmitted infections and medically accurate information about contraception: guiding the students to the understanding that abstinence is the healthiest choice. Additional components of the Healthy Respect program include Parent Workshops, Communication Workshops, a Mentorship Program, and After-School Dance and Drama Workshops. | ||
